The 2nd ICISMED International Conference in Information Systems and Medicine, to be held at the Autonomous University of Chile, in Temuco, Chile between the 26th and the 28th of March 2026 is a multilingual, hybrid and multidisciplinary conference with a special focus on new technologies and systems in the healthcare industry.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Dra. María Elena Reyes s a research academic at the Universidad Autónoma de Chile. She is a specialist in brown algae polysaccharides and their biological activities, mainly in cancer. She currently leads projects focused on the potential adjuvant effects of polysaccharides in the treatment of chemoresistant gastric cancer.
Dra. Bárbara Mora is a Academic researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Chile, specializing in molecular oncology, and principal investigator of projects focused on the study of chemotherapy resistance in gastric cancer and the development of pharmacological repositioning strategies.
